Blurred image – How can I create a sharp image?

Unfortunately, we have to point out that the photo you sent in is blurred.

Tips and tricks for taking a sharper portrait.

  1. Make sure there isplenty of natural light : Light is the most important factor for a good photo: make sure there is enough natural light (i.e. stand close to a window). Ideally, the light should come from the front and not from the side.
  2. Set the camera focus point: Make sure that the focus points of your smartphone camera are aimed at your face
  3. Hold your smartphone steady: Hold the phone as still as possible to avoid motion blur.
  4. Use a new smartphone model: If possible, use a new smartphone for the photo. If possible, it should be less than 24 months old.
  5. Dirty lens: If the cell phone lens is dirty, this can impair the image quality and lead to blurring.

Upload your new portrait as you did the first time.

Poor light – use natural light for better portraits

Unfortunately, we have to point out that your photo was taken in poor lighting conditions.

You will get the most beautiful portrait if you

  1. directly in front of a large window. Point your face towards the window to avoid unattractive shadows. The person taking the photo has the light behind them.
  2. Always look out of the window – prevent backlighting
  3. Avoid artificial light coming from ceiling or floor lamps

Make sure that your smartphone is in landscape format and at eye level and that you are in the center of the screen. There should be some space around you at the edge of the picture and upload your new portrait as you did the first time.
